Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the resort. While the staff were very welcoming and attentive, the condition of the rooms left a lot to be desired, particularly the cleanliness and maintenance. I truly enjoyed the variety of dining options and the quality of the food, which made for memorable meals. However, the location was a bit inconvenient, especially with the pool being in a separate building that required outdoor access.
The resort offers a cozy atmosphere and pleasant staff interactions, which are definite highlights. While the location provides a nice retreat not too far from Chicago and the food was generally good, some aspects of the service and facilities left much to be desired. Access to the hot tub was inconvenient, and the dining service could be more attentive.
I recently stayed at this resort for a family reunion and overall had a nice time. The staff were generally friendly, especially Victor at the restaurants, and the pool area was enjoyable. However, I found some of the pricing a bit steep, particularly for the banquet and in the market place. In terms of cleanliness, I had one concerning experience with bed bugs that really affected my stay, but the hotel staff handled the situation as best as they could.
My stay at Eaglewood Resort was a mixed bag. On one hand, I enjoyed the spacious junior suite with a lovely golf view and the abundance of amenities. The gym and spa services provided were top-notch, making for a relaxing experience. However, there were also significant downsides such as the inconsistent quality of the spa treatments and some dining difficulties that marred an otherwise enjoyable visit.
My stay at the resort was a mixed bag. While the staff were outstanding and made my experience feel special, the accommodations didn't quite match the resort vibe I was expecting. The pool area had a great ambiance, but I found the pricing a bit steep for what was offered. Overall, there were some truly enjoyable aspects, but I left hoping for some improvements in certain areas.
